Elks Recreation Statement Regarding COVID - 19

Elks Recreation, Inc. has taken enhanced health and safety measures for our consumers, volunteers, and team members. We ask that you follow all posted instructions and directions from our team members and signage while visiting the Elks Event Center. Discretions infringing upon the safety of others or violating the directions and instructions from team members or signage will result in the removal from property without refund of transaction. COVID-19 is extremely dangerous and an inherent risk of exposure is possible in any case where others are present.

By visiting Elks Event Center, the consumer acknowledges for themselves, and for all whom tickets were purchased for, the inherent risk of exposure to the disease COVID-19 (as defined by the World Health Organization and any strains, variants, or mutations thereof), and any other communicable or infectious disease, exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious communicable disease that can lead to severe illness and death. No precautions can eliminate the risk of exposure to COVID-19, and the risk of exposure applies to everyone. Consumer also acknowledges that they may expose the disease to others that they encounter later, even if they are not experiencing or displaying symptoms. The consumer voluntarily assumes any and all risks. For more information on COVID-19, consumers may visit the Center For Disease Control website.

Additionally, the consumer does herby attest for themselves, and for all whom tickets were purchased for, that they are aware of and will follow all current Santa Barbara County and California State official health guidelines.

The Santa Maria Elks Rodeo is closely monitoring the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. The progression of the virus is concerning and is causing significant disruption to our daily routine. We have seen major sporting events, conferences, schools, large social events and customary gatherings substantially limited in attendance or suspended entirely. We are mindful of this changing dynamic, and the strain of these unprecedented circumstances and times.

As a rodeo, we are taking steps to limit and mitigate the impact of the virus on our business, staff, volunteers and fans. We will continue to work with local government agencies and follow the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines in protecting your health and safety.

The situation is evolving rapidly, and we are working hard to stay informed and will continue to be responsive with any updates that may have an effect on our schedule and programs. Visit our Facebook page for information updates. The health and well-being of your family and our community is our priority. Thank you for your patience as we continue to navigate through this process.
